STABLE . Magazine .

Cal Poly Pomona’s architecture student magazine, “Stable,” founded in 2025, provides a print and digital platform for undergraduate students in Southern California to engage, support, and empower each other, as well as to converse with practitioners across the profession. Through print and digital formats, the magazine aims to showcase the work of students, faculty, and practitioners of architecture in order to create a community of exchange and a culture of learning. The larger aim of the organization is for the magazine to be a repository of ideas, tips, tools, and strategies for students both within and outside Cal Poly Pomona. Rather than discipline-focused, as is the case of most publications within graduate schools of architecture today, “Stable” magazine is student- and profession- focused. Through the magazine, our organization intends to help architecture students navigate higher education while preparing them for a career in architecture.

We would like to thank the Graham Foudnation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts, for funding this endeavor. Founded in 1956, the Graham Foundation for Advanced Studies in the Fine Arts fosters the development and exchange of diverse and challenging ideas about architecture and its role in the arts, culture, and society.

four departments

Board

The board consists of members of the ASP club which include, President, Schedular, Treasurer, Advertising Lead, Writing Lead, and Graphic Design Lead.

Advertising Department

The Social Media Department creatively markets the club and keeps people informed about important dates, events, and announcements. The department engages and reaches others through eye-catching posts, dynamic videos, interactive stories, and more! The Social media team will manage the Link.Tree, the website, all social platforms, track Google Forms, and maintain communication with followers.

Graphic Design Department

The graphic design department will be in charge of all that is visual about our magazine. They are established to keep a uniform and relevant visual representation throughout the magazine. These members may also help with the website and social media as these are also club visual representations. This can be a heavy yet rewarding position.

Writing Department

This department not only handles all student submissions, but executes and writes interviews, writes research papers, reviews, and runs all content for the year based on the chosen theme. They will have access to professional editors to ensure the best quality for the magazine.
